Overview
A private forest honeymoon built around one extraordinary hour with the gorillas, slow lake days, and a journey composed for two. Seven days, soft pacing, and a route that puts emotional clarity ahead of itinerary clutter.
This is not a generic safari honeymoon. We deliberately keep the route simple: Entebbe, Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi, Entebbe. No Queen Elizabeth detour. No checklist of parks. Privacy, beautiful pacing, and one rare encounter, in that order.
Three things make it feel like Bwindi House Gorilla Safaris rather than a package. The Forest Vow Moment, a private symbolic setup after the trek with a handwritten note, a forest-view table, and a tree planted in your names. The Gorilla Family Field Note, a written record of the family you tracked. And the House Honeymoon Kit, with duffel, trekking socks, ponchos, and a field journal that goes home with you.

Day by Day
Day
01/07
Lakeshore landing, welcome briefing
Arrive in Entebbe and meet your Bwindi House Gorilla Safaris representative. A soft landing night on the lakeshore with a welcome note, honeymoon briefing, and a calm dinner. No transfers, no pressure, just rest before the western journey begins.

Entebbe to Buhoma, curated journey day
Private transfer west to the Buhoma sector of Bwindi. Sold honestly as a journey rather than a transfer, with curated stops, refreshments, lunch, and guide interpretation as the country opens into forest. Arrive at Trackers Safari Lodge for dinner.
Trackers Safari Lodge, Buhoma
A settle day in the forest. Forest-edge spa time, a guided nature walk or birding morning, a slow lodge lunch, a private conservation briefing, and an evening gorilla briefing followed by a private dinner setup. The day is there on purpose; it makes the trek feel earned.
Bwindi, Buhoma sector
Gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, report to the UWA briefing point. Trekking time depends on the family's overnight movement. Once located, spend one hour with the gorillas in the forest. Porter support is included as standard. Back to the lodge, clean up, and a private dinner. The evening also holds your Forest Vow Moment, if you choose it.

Spa, Batwa visit or tree planting
Recovery and forest belonging. A Batwa cultural experience framed sensitively, a tree-planting moment, a slow forest walk, a couples spa credit, and a handwritten field note from the Bwindi House Gorilla Safaris team about your gorilla family. A good honeymoon needs a day after the main moment, not just before it.

Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi retreat. Transfer south to Africa's second-deepest lake, set among terraced hills and small islands. A private canoe experience, sunset drinks, a lakeside room, and a slow morning option. The water and the quiet are deliberately different from the forest.

Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe
Return to Entebbe by road, with the option of a final Entebbe night if your flight times require it. Your Bwindi House Gorilla Safaris team handles onward arrangements.
